ENCHANTING! This was the only word that came to mind upon setting foot on this beautiful island. From its endless white beaches with crystal clear waters to its enchanting lagoons and jaw-dropping cliffs, this island has then become my most favorite.
If you’re traveling alone (with your book and your backpack), this is the best place to unwind and just reflect. With its more than 40 beaches, you can never have enough.
The sunset in Las Cabanas is one thing you should never miss. Here I am posting my favorite yoga pose (because it’s the easiest..haha) while enjoying the cotton candy sky.
There are a lot of activities you can do too while exploring this majestic island. You can go island hopping, snorkeling, scuba diving, the ever-scary-but-self-fulfilling cliff diving, and a lot more.
At night, you can dine and have a couple of drinks at some good but affordable restaurants along the beach. You can party too with other tourists as there are a lot of them who also travel alone. One thing I’ve noticed though was that El Nido is packed with mostly Europeans and I’m talking about 8 out of 10. So, expect to be sharing the boat with them in one of your island hopping adventures.
